Established in 1919 as an affiliate of the National Urban League (NUL), our organization is one of numerous NUL affiliates established during the early 20th century, when millions of African-Americans migrated northward from southern states in search of greater opportunities and a better way of life. Milwaukee Urban League (MUL) is preparing to celebrate 100 Years of Empowering Milwaukee community residents. Kindly consider donating and help us reach our goal for another 100 years of service.
The Milwaukee Urban League has various ways you can become a member. Our auxiliaries provide the perfect fit for you to empower yourself and your community. MUL executes its mission with enthusiastic volunteers from two auxiliary groups: Milwaukee Urban League Guild and Milwaukee Urban League Young Professionals (MULYP) who give the gift of time, talent, and resources. These two groups assist the organization and staff through volunteerism, philanthropy, membership development, and program support.
